André Post - Director / Senior Consultant

André has significant experience in strategic assessment, project and programme management – managing both staff and projects to ensure delivery against client business requirements. His broad knowledge of IS and GIS technologies allows him to effectively advise clients on the most appropriate use of their resources, and the optimum GIS/IT strategy.

André’s roles included management of projects for regional government - such as Biosecurity and Land Management applications, Emergency Management tools and Integrated Asset Management systems. As part of the LUCAS project for the Ministry for the Environment, he successfully introduced and implemented components of Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM).

Through improvements such as CCPM, André strives to reveal capacity and effectiveness, improving the work processes that allow organisations to move forward.

Before establishing Splice Group, André was Technical Services Director for EGL, an IT company focused on GIS, with responsibility for clients within the Central Government, Utilities and SOE sectors.  From mid 2009 André was also Acting Chief Executive, where he managed day-to-day operations.

André also spent nine years in Local Government as GIS Manager at Nelson City Council and GIS Coordinator at South Waikato District Council.

André has a Masters in Business Administration degree and a Diploma in GIS, both from Massey University.
